Womens A-Line Huipil Style Dress

70s -Home Sewn- Womens navy multi-color blended cotton short sleeve lounge Huipil style dress having an elastic shaped round neckline finished by a navy and white check patterned fabric. Sleeves are cut and attached using a rectangular seam line instead of shaped. Crewel embroidery using an acrylic fiber details the yoke and remainder of the front below. Orange red pink and turquoise provide vivid color interest to the floral pattern with the lower hem band being stitched in the navy check fabric as is the lower back band. Side slits extend 10inches up from the hem giving movement ease. This pull-over free-hip garment measures 46inches from shoulder to hem.
