60s -Home Sewn- Petite Womens or Girls ivory cream satin acetate floor length dress having short sleeves that are tightly gathered into the armhole and rolled hem band creating a puffed appearance. A wide two-piece fold over collar finishes the round neckline with a back metal zipper closure. Darts shape the bodice with two floral machine embroidered motifs details it. The skirt also is gathered into the waist seam and constructed in layers with piping finishing each of the upper sections and flowing in soft gathers to the hem. This free-hip garment measures 47 inches from shoulder to hem and as with many vintage acetates may have slight variations in tone within the fabric.
