Vintage 1960s William Cahill California bridal ensemble featuring an ivory satin and polyester A-line wedding gown, coordinating satin slip, and fitted bridal cap. The dress appears to have been professionally altered using portions of an earlier 1950s satin gown, with floral appliqué and trim incorporated to blend the fabrics. It has a high neckline, long fitted sleeves with covered buttons and pointed cuffs, a back zipper with hook closures, and a full skirt ending in a 22” train. The less-defined waist and hip provide flexibility through the lower body. The matching cap is decorated with pearl-beaded trim and bows; veil netting is not included.
